Doria Mamalo is the most accomplished female collegiate diver in Clarion history. Competing from 1985 to 1988, she won four NCAA Division II titles, was an NCA runner-up three times, and placed third in her maximum of eight NCAA appearances. She also won eight PSAC titles in eight tried, a PSAC record for both men and women. In 1985 Doria won the one and three meter PSAC titles, the NCAA title on three meter, was second on one meter, and helped the team to a third place finish at nationals. In 1986 she won both boards at PSAC’s and nationals, was named NCAA Div. II Female “Diver of the Year”, and helped Clarion to the NCAA Div. II National Championship. She went on to place 11th on three meter at the NCAA Div. I Nationals, the first Division II diver to earn All-America honors at Div. I’s. In 1987 she won both boards at PSAC’s, was first on one meter and third at three meter at nationals, and helped Clarion to a second place team finish at nationals. In 1988 she won both boards at PSAC’s, placed second on both boards at nationals and helped the team finish fourth at nationals. 

A native of Hershey and Hershey High School, Doria graduated in 1988 with a degree in computer application information science and is currently employed as a computer operator for Parkway Auto Superstore I Chesapeake, Virginia. Doria and husband Douglas (former Clarion track/cross country performer), have a son Jordan.
