Dave Hrovat from 2009-11, Pearsall competed for three seasons and made six total performances at the NCAA Division II Nationals. Pearsall won four NCAA Division II national championships and posted two NCAA Division II runner-up finishes in his three years.
As a sophomore in 2009 Pearsall won the 3m Dive title, scoring 504.25 points, and placed second in the 1m Dive with 492.75 points to help the Golden Eagles place 13
th at nationals. Pearsall was named Clarion's Male Athlete of the Year. In 2010 Pearsall won the national championship in the 3m Dive, breaking a 16-year old record with 557.50 points, and also won the 1m Dive board with 545.65 points. Named by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as the NCAA Division II Diver of the Year, he was honored with the 2010
Profiles in Excellence Swimming & Diving Breakout Diver of the Year. The Golden Eagles finished 13
th as a team at nationals.
Pearsall returned in 2011 for his second Division II Diver of the Year Award, winning the 3m Dive title with a new NCAA Record score of 565.15 points and finishing second in the 1m Dive with 500.10 points. Pearsall is one of five NCAA Division II Divers with four national championships, tied for the most in history, with Clarion's Mike Zucca and Shawn Colten also holding that distinction.
A 2010 Clarion grad who took graduate classes in 2011, he is currently in his fifth year as the head diving coach at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado. He coached his first NCAA Champion in 2018 and was named the CSCAA Men's Diving Coach of the Year. A 2006 graduate of Port Allegany High School, Logan is married to James Pulsipher and they reside in Palisade, Colorado.
