Simply put, Terry Roseto was the dominant player at center for the Golden Eagles from 1974-77. A 4-year starter, Terry finished his career in 1977 as the career leading scorer (1,614 points) and the career leading rebounder (1,245 rebounds). He still holds the career rebounding record. He played in all of Clarion's 108 games during those four years, with Clarion posting a combined record of 76-32 (70.4%), including a school record 27-3 mark in 1976-77. In 1977, Roseto's senior year, Clarion won the PSAC-West title, the D-18 crown and went 1-1 at the NAIA National Tournament. In his junior and senior years he shot 59% from the floor and 76% from the free throw line. His career numbers show he made 640 of 1,173 field goals (54.6%) and 314 of 431 free throws (72.8%), averaged 14.9 ppg and 11.5 rebounds. His total of 347 rebounds in a single season (1977) is second on the all-time list. He scored 444 points (16.4ppg) in 1976, and 421 tallies (14.0ppg) in 1977. A District-18, PSAC-West and ECAC choice in his career, he also earned All-America honors. A 1977 graduate of Clarion with an Elementary Education Degree, he is currently employed by Erie County. A native of Harborcreek and a 1973 graduate of Harborcreek High, Terry scored 1,240 career points, averaged 22.6ppg his senior year, scored 60 points in a single game versus Wattsburg and was a unanimous choice, 1st team All-County selection.
