CLARION - Christina Steiner had 13 kills, 11 digs and three blocks to lead Clarion to a 3-0 win at home over Davis & Elkins Tuesday night.

The Golden Eagles (2-0) won the first game 30-15, the second game 30-26 and the third one 30-25.

Sarah Fries added 11 kills and 11 digs, while Amanda Angermeier had 11 kills and freshman Nicole Andrusz 10 kills and seven blocks. Kristi Fiorillo chipped in with 45 set assists and 11 digs.

Clarion returns to action this weekend with four matches at the Shippensburg Tournament. Friday, the Golden Eagles face Anderson (SC) and Goldey-Beacom before taking on Limestone (NC) and the University of the Sciences Saturday.
