WEST CHESTER - For just the second time this season the Clarion University women's volleyball team was on the losing end of things dropping a close 3-2 decision to Shippensburg in PSAC Crossover play at West Chester Friday night.

The Golden Eagles took a 2-1 lead (30-19, 16-30, 30-24) before dropping the final two games 31-33 and 12-15 to Shippensburg (18-4), the top team in the PSAC-East.

Kristi Fiorillo led the Golden Eagles (15-2) with 51 assists and 13 digs, Christina Steiner added 19 kills and 19 digs and Vicky Gentile 29 digs.

Clarion continues crossover play Saturday against West Chester and East Stroudsburg.
