CLARION - The Clarion University's women's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 (30-9, 30-1, 30-8) win over visiting Cheyney Friday night in PSAC Crossover action at Tippin Gym.

The victory is Clarion's 20th on the season and improves the Golden Eagles to 20-3. It extends Clarion's school record for consecutive 20-win seasons to seven.

With many of the Golden Eagle regulars getting the night off, Haley White led Clarion with nine kills and four service aces. Amanda Stefanov added seven kills and two blocks, while Alison Bolinger had seven kills as well. Dani Hughes chipped in with 28 set assists and 14 service aces, while Joy Carey added five service aces and eight digs.
