The Clarion women's tennis team defeated St. Vincent Friday Oct. 10 at home. The final score was 7-2. The Golden Eagles are 4-1 on the fall season.

In singles play, wins for the Golden Eagles came from #1 Jaclyn Metzger who defeated Allie Botti 6-3, 6-4, #3 Kassie Leuschel who defeated Alexis Cup 6-3, 6-3, #5 Megan Parsons who defeated Brittany Vignero 6-0, 6-2, and #6 Haylee Gardner who defeated Megan Mahoney 6-1, 6-3.

In doubles play, the #1 team of Jaclyn Metzger and Kassie Leuschel defeated Kim Meier and Emily Morris 8-4. The #2 team of Sharyah Campbell and Devin Rombach defeated Alexis Cup and Allie Botti 9-8 (7-5). The #3 team of Megan Parsons and Haylee Gardner defeated Brittany Vignero and Megan Mahoney 8-0.

Clarion is back in action for PSACs at Shippenburg Oct. 11-12.
