CLARION - Sarah Powell scored two goals and assisted on a third to lead Mercyhurst to a 6-0 win over Clarion in PSAC-West women's soccer action Sunday afternoon at Clarion's Memorial Stadium.

The Lakers (7-3-3 overall, 5-1-3 PSAC-West) scored on six of their 17 shots against Clarion goalkeeper Jenna Kulik, who made five saves.

Rebecca Waterhouse led Clarion with three shots, and the Golden Eagles (3-9-2, 0-7-2) had eight shots total on two Mercyhurst goalkeepers.

Taylor Hilinski and Jamie Schrater added a goal and an assist for Mercyhurst, who also got goals from Lisa Melander and Lindsey Meyer.

Clarion returns to action Friday at Gannon.
