CLARION- Clarion University's women's volleyball team swept a pair of matches at home on Saturday against Lake Erie and West Liberty.

In the morning match the Golden Eagles defeated Lake Erie 3-0 (25-17, 25-15, 25-14), and in the afternoon game beat West Liberty 3-0 (25-15, 25-17, 25-11).

Against Lake Erie Nicole Andrusz paced the Golden Eagles with nine kills and two blocks. Kellie Bartman added nine kills. Amanda Gough had 32 set assists and six digs. Rhianon Brady added 13 digs.

In the West Liberty game Amanda Gough lead Clarion with 18 assists and seven digs. Danielle Brunot added seven kills and three solo blocks. Kellie Bartman had eight kills and Amanda Stefanov added five kills.

The wins up Clarion's record to 13-12 on the season. The Golden Eagles return to action 7 p.m. on Tuesday when they host Gannon.
