Final Stats
CLARION- Clarion University's Women's soccer team rallied late to earn a 3-3 tie with visiting Lock Haven in a PSAC-West match up Tuesday night.
Hillary Dieter scored at the 82:22 mark assisted by Emily Heasley to tie the game 3-3 and sending the game to overtime.
Tiffany Mason opened the scoring for the Golden Eagles with a goal at 16:48 on an assist from Rachael Schmitz. Lock Haven would answer with an unassisted goal from Brianna Orth at 28:50, and a tally by Jesse Cox at 43:42 assisted by Lindsey Blessing to make the score 2-1 at the half.
Carly D'Orsaneo would open the second half scoring with an unassisted tally at 65:26 extending Lock Haven's lead. Jill Miller cut the lead in half with a goal at 71:06 on an assist from Caitlin Borden.
Jenna Kulik was in net for Clarion making six saves one of those in overtime.
Clarion is now 3-10-3 overall (0-8-3 PSAC-West) and will return to action Saturday when they travel to California.
