EDINBORO - The Clarion University women's volleyball team split a pair of matches in PSAC Crossover play Saturday at Edinboro.
In the morning match, Lock Haven defeated the Golden Eagles 3-1 (20-25, 26-24, 19-25, 16-25), while in the afternoon Clarion knocked off Cheyney 3-0 (25-5, 25-9, 25-1).
In the Lock Haven match, Kellie Bartman had 10 kills, two blocks and six digs, while Danielle Brunot added seven kills and four blocks and Nicole Andrusz nine kills. Amanda Gough had 32 set assists, four kills and six digs, Rhianon Brady had 20 digs and Katie Aurand five aces and five digs.
Against Cheyney, Casey Anderson had a career-high 13 kills, Kaitlyn Anderson had three kills and eight digs, Kayla Rodak had nine digs, Sarah Sheffield four kills and Leirin Baker six aces.
The split leaves Clarion at 11-10 on the season. The Golden Eagles return to action Tuesday when they host California.
