GREENSBURG - Chelsey Grabigel recorded her first career double-double while getting career highs in points, rebounds and assists, but Seton Hill used a 12-3 run late in the game to get a 78-68 win over visiting Clarion in non-conference women's basketball action Saturday night in Greensburg.
Grabigel had 12 points, 11 rebounds and five assists, and Katrina Greer scored a game-high 19 points to lead Clarion.
The Golden Eagles (2-2) trailed by five, 59-54, with 8:14 left in the game but were outscored 12-3 over the next five minutes as Seton Hill (1-1) took a 14-point lead, 71-57, with 3:36 to play.
Katie Litner and Lindsay Muchnock each had double-doubles to lead four Seton Hill players in double figures. Litner had 17 points and 14 rebounds, and Muchnock added 13 points and 12 boards. Jordan Burke had 15 points, and Erika Haitz had 13 points.
Lizzie Suwala chipped in 12 points and six rebounds for Clarion and Bethany Koch added 10 rebounds, four points and three assists.
Clarion is now off until Dec. 6-7 when it plays at Susan G. Komen Shoot for the Cure Classic at IUP. The Golden Eagles take on West Liberty St. Dec. 6 and Concord Dec. 7. Both games are 1 p.m.
