(LOCK HAVEN, PA.): Clarion's Women's Soccer team made history today, winning their first PSAC-West road game by defeating Lock Haven 2-1.
Trailing 1-0 at halftime, the Golden Eagles rallied to tie the game at the 53:06 mark when Jill Miller scored the game tying goal, with Rachael Schmitz getting the assist.
Captain Ashley Downs scored the game-winner at 61:45 with the assist going to Chelsea Wolff.
Jessica Reed made 9 saves in goal for the Golden Eagles to preserve the victory which raised Clarion's overall record to 1-1 and 1-1 in the PSAC-West.
Clarion travels to California on September 1 for a 1pm game.
