(CALIFORNIA, PA.): Clarion's Women's Soccer team made it two in a row on the road today as the Golden Eagles traveled to California and defeated the Vulcans 1-0.
Clarion raised its overall record to 2-1 and is in first place in the
PSAC-West with a 2-0 record.
Rachael Schmitz scored the game's only goal in the first half at 16:47 with an assist from Caitlin Borden.
Clarion's defense played very well in the victory, while goalie Jessica Reed made 5 saves to record the shutout.
The Golden Eagles return home to host Slippery Rock on September 3rd.
