(CLARION, PA.): Clarion jumped out to a 2-0 first half lead, then held on to gain a tie with visiting Edinboro today.
The tie gives Clarion and overall record of 3-4-1 and a PSAC-West mark of 2-2-1.
Clairon's Jill Miller gave the Golden Eagles a 1-0 lead when she scored at 2:49 on an assist from Danielle Reiley.
The Eagles made it 2-0 when Hillary Dieter scored on a rebound shot at 23:14 of the game.
Edinboro scored at 57:08, then tied the game on a goal by Angie diAlmeida at 64:15.
The team splayed two scoreless overtimes to end up with a 2-2 tie.
Jessica Reed played all 110 minutes in goal for Clarion and made 6 saves. Clarion hosts Kutztown September 20th.
