(Clarion, Pa.): Clarion's Women's Tennis team raised its PSAC-West record to 2-1 on Saturday as the Golden Eagles posted a 9-0 shutout win over Shippensburg at the Campbell Courts.

Clarion is now 7-7 on the season and 2-1 in PSAC-West play. Ship is now 2-10 overall and 0-3 in the West.

Clarion #1 singles player Corin Rombach defeated Jackie Kramer 6-0, 6-1, #2 Lisa Baumgartner defeated Ali Horvath 6-1, 6-0 and #3 Brittany Bovalino downed Kathy Henly 6-1, 6-1.

At #4 single Clarion's Devin Rombach defeated Jess Lodek 4-6, 6-4, 10-7, #5 Kassie Leuschel defeated Monica Beradi 6-0, 6-0 and #6 Sharayah Campbell defeated Robin Light 6-1, 6-0.

In doubles the tandem of Corin and Devin Rombach defeated Kramer and Lodek 8-0 at #1 doubles, Baumgartner and Leuschel defeated Henly and Horvath 8-1 at #2 and Bovalino and Megan Parsons defeated Light and Beradi 8-2.

Clarion hosts Allegheny on Tuesday and Slippery Rock on Thursday at the Campbell Courts. Match time is 4pm versus Allegheny and 2pm versus Slippery Rock.
