CALIFORNIA - The Clarion University women's volleyball team dropped its PSAC-West opener 3-0 (18-25, 17-25, 13-25) at defending PSAC Champion California Tuesday night.

Nicole Andrusz led Clarion (4-1, 0-1 PSAC-West) with five kills and three blocks, while Danielle Brunot added four kills and one block. Amanda Gough had 12 assists and 14 digs, while Rhianon Brady added 15 digs and Joy Carey 10 digs.

Clarion returns to action Friday and Saturday at the East Stroudsburg Tournament.
