EDINBORO - Clarion extended Edinboro to extra points in two of three sets but came up short in both in a 3-0 loss to the Fighting Scots at Edinboro Saturday afternoon.

Edinboro, ranked third in the Atlantic Region, won by scores of 30-28, 25-17 and 28-26.

Clarion (21-6 overall, 11-2 PSAC), who is ranked sixth in the Region, got 13 kills, nine digs and two aces and six blocks. Amanda Gough chipped in with 24 assists, two kills and seven digs, Rhianon Brady chipped in with 21 digs, Danielle Brunot had four kills and Rebecca Webb five blocks and two kills.

The Golden Eagles are back in action Tuesday at Slippery Rock.
