CLARION--Behind Amanda Gough's 34 assists, seven digs, and three kills Clarion dropped visiting Edinboro 3-0 Friday night in PSAC-West action.

The Golden Eagles (25-7 overall, 15-3 PSAC) took the game in straight sets 25-21, 25-23, and 30-28.

Nicole Andrusz and Kellie Bartman led the Golden Eagles with 10 kills apiece. Kaitlyn Anderson added eight kills. Rebecca Webb chipped in seven kills and three blocks. Rhianon Brady tallied 19 digs

With the win, Clarion clinched a home PSAC playoff game. It is the first time in school history the Golden Eagles will host a PSAC playoff contest. Clarion did host a pair of PSAC-West playoff rounds in the 1980s.

Clarion returns to action Saturday when they host Gannon in the regular season finale at 1 p.m. NOTES - Clarion will now host a still-to-be-determined PSAC-West opponent Tuesday night in the PSAC playoffs.
