CLARION--Clarion dropped the regular season finale 3-2 to visiting Gannon Saturday afternoon in PSAC-West action.

The Golden Eagles won the second and fourth sets by identical 26-24 scores but dropped the first set 21-25, and the third set 28-30. Clarion lost the fifth set 6-15.

The Golden Eagles (25-8 overall, 15-4 PSAC) were already locked into the number two seed in the PSAC playoffs going into Saturday's contest.

Kellie Bartman paced Clarion with 17 kills and nine digs. Kaitlyn Anderson added 14 kills. Rebecca Webb chipped in 10 kills.

Amanda Gough recorded 45 set assists and 17 digs. Rhianon Brady tallied 24 digs and Joy Carey added 19 digs.

Clarion will host either Gannon or Edinboro in PSAC playoff game Tuesday night.
