(CLARION, PA.): Clarion's Women's Tennis Team closed its 2009 season on Friday evening with a 9-0 win over Seton Hill at the Campbell Courts.

Clarion finished its 2008-09 season with an overall record of 10-7 and a 2-3 mark in the PSAC-West.

At #1 singles Clarion's Jaclyn Metzger defeated Beth Merryman 6-0, 6-0, while Kassie Leuschel topped Tiffany Gilbert 6-0, 6-1 at #2 and Sharayah Campbell defeated Leara Glinzak 6-0, 6-0 at #3.

At #4 singles Haylee Gardner defeated Clare Simmers 6-1, 6-0, while Devin Rombach at #5 and Megan Parsons at #6 won by forfeit.

In doubles action Metzger and Leuschel defeated Merryman and Gilbert 8-1 at #1, and Campbell and Rombach topped Glinzak and Simmers 8-0 at #2. The final doubles saw Gardner and Parsons win by forfeit.
