(ERIE, PA.): Clarion's Haylee Gardner won at #4 singles and the doubles tandem of Gardner and Megan Parsons also won at #3 doubles, but it wasn't enough on Sunday as the Golden Eagles lost at Mercyhurst 7-2 at the Westwood Racquet Club.

Mercyhurst raised its record to 9-8 overall, while Clarion dropped to 7-5 this season.

Gardner won at #4 singles against Courtney Conway 1-6, 7-5, 10-6, and Rombach/Parsons won their #3 doubles match against Nastalie Iovino and Kelton Macke 8-0 to score Clarion's two points.

Clarion will next visit Slippery Rock on Tuesday at 4pm.
