ERIE – Kellie Bartman, Danielle Brunot and Sarah Sheffield combined for 21 kills to lead Clarion to a 3-0 win over West Virginia Wesleyan in non-conference women’s volleyball action Friday night at Gannon.

Bartman led the way for the Golden Eagles, who won by scores of 25-13, 26-24, 25-10, with nine kills while Brunot and Sheffield each had six kills. Brunot hit .667 with Sheffield hitting .600.

Amanda Gough added 19 assists, six digs, three aces, four blocks and two kills for Clarion (7-1) with Rhianon Brady chipping in eight digs and Rebecca Webb four blocks.

Clarion returns to action Saturday at Mercyhurst where it will face Alderson-Broaddus and Wheeling Jesuit.
