Final Stats

CLARION- Clarion University's Women's soccer team dropped a heartbreaking 1-0 decision to Slippery Rock Saturday afternoon.

After 88 scoreless minutes the game appeared to be heading for overtime when Slippery Rock's Julianna Howell headed a Shelby Ward cross into the back of the net with just 1:11 left on the clock setting the final.

The Golden Eagles fired seven shots and were paced by Jordan Daloisio and Erin White tallying two shots a piece.

Jenna Kulik made nine saves in a losing effort.

Clarion (3-4, 0-4 PSAC-West) returns to action 7 p.m. Wednesday night when it travels to Gannon.
