CALIFORNIA – Behind double-doubles from Kellie Bartman and Amanda Gough, the Clarion University women’s volleyball team knocked off defending PSAC-East champion Lock Haven 3-2 in come-from-behind PSAC Crossover volleyball action Friday afternoon at California.
The Golden Eagles trailed 1-0 and 2-1 in the match before winning the final two sets to get their 10th win of the season. Scores were 22-25, 25-18, 18-25, 25-19, 15-8.
Bartman had 15 kills, 13 digs, three blocks and two aces, while Gough had 36 set assists, 13 digs, five kills and three blocks. Rebecca Webb chipped in with 12 kills and five blocks with Kaitlyn Anderson adding eight kills and Nicole Andrusz five kills and three blocks.
Clarion (10-2) returns to action later Friday vs. East Stroudsburg.
