CLARION-- Clarion (3-9, 0-8 PSAC-West) dropped a 1-0 decision to visiting IUP Wednesday afternoon at Clarion's Memorial Stadium.

IUP's Viann Heder scored an unassisted goal at 76:05 to give the Crimson Hawks the lead for good.

Lindsay Thill, Crystal Miller, and Jordan Daloisio each registered two shots for the Golden Eagles in the loss.

Jenna Kulik was in net for Clarion making five stops and allowing just the one goal.

The Golden Eagles return to action Friday at 4 p.m. when they host West Virginia Wesleyan.

NOTES- Clarion's leading scorer Jill Miller sat out the game due to injury.
