CLARION- An early Mercyhurst goal was more than Clarion (3-3, 0-3 PSAC-West) could overcome as the Golden Eagles lost 2-0 Tuesday evening.

Jamie Lsturell's goal off a pass from Jamie Schroter just 5:51 into the game proved to be the game winner.

Taylor Hilinski tacked on an insurance goal at 60:10 when she banged home a rebound off a Braedyn Ordway header.

Jordan Daloisio and Crystal Miller each registered a shot for Clarion.

Jenna Kulik made five saves and took the loss.

Clarion looks to get back on track Saturday at 2:30 p.m. when the travel to Slippery Rock.

NOTES- Mercyhurst out shot Clarion 14-2 in the game including 9-1 in the first half.
