RECORD SETTERS - EAGLES BLANK SR 3-0

Junior setter Amanda Gough had yet another strong evening as she led the Golden Eagles past Slippery Rock 3-0 in Tuesday’s Breast Cancer Awareness Match. Gough had 32 assists, 11 digs and four kills.

Kaitlyn Anderson also had a good night at the net as she tallied 11 kills and nine digs. Kellie Bartman had 10 kills, five assists, and seven digs in the win. 

Corinne Manley had eight kills and Hannah Heeter chipped in with six kills and two blocks.  Rhianon Brady paced the Clarion defense with 16 digs. 

The win put Clarion at 19-2 (11-1 in PSAC), the best 21 game record in school history. The Golden Eagles look to keep up their winning ways on Thursday as they take on Wheeling Jesuit (WV) in Tippin Gymnasium at 7pm.  Clarion returns to PSAC action Saturday at home at 1pm against Gannon.
