CLARION SURVIVES SCARE FROM GANNON

The Golden Eagles (20-3, 12-1 PSAC) survived a scare from Gannon (15-6, 9-4) on Saturday, beating the Golden Knights 3-2. Leading Clarion was junior Kaitlyn Anderson who had 14 kills, 14 digs, two service aces and one assist.

The Golden Eagles (20-3, 12-1 PSAC) survived a scare from Gannon (15-6, 9-4 PSAC) on Saturday, beating the Golden Knights 3-2.  Leading Clarion was junior Kaitlyn Anderson who had 14 kills, 14 digs, two service aces and one assist.

Kellie Bartman led the team with 19 kills while Rebecca Webb notched 10 kills in the win.  Setting up the hitters were Amanda Gough, who had 34 assists, and Rebecca Beightol, who added 23 assists. 

Clarion's defense was once again led by Rhianon Brady who had 22 digs, four service aces and one assist.  Bartman and Beightol also chipped in eight digs defensively. 

Clarion ends the six-game home stand with a record of 5-1 and moves to 20-3 overall.  The Golden Eagles head to IUP and Cal next week before returning home October 27th to play Seton Hill.
