ERIE – Clarion rebounded from its first loss in 13 matches to beat Mercyhurst 3-0 (25-12, 26-24, 28-26) Saturday afternoon in Erie.

The Golden Eagles (14-2 overall, 7-1 PSAC-West) have still won 14 of 15 matches.

Kaitlyn Anderson paced Clarion with 11 kills and nine digs, while Kellie Bartman had 14 kills and three blocks. Danielle Brunot added seven kills and four blocks, Rebecca Webb had eight kills, six digs and three blocks and Corinne Manley had four blocks.

Amanda Gough set up the offense with 36 set assists while adding eight digs, and Rhianon Brady had 25 digs with Kayla Rodak chipping in with six digs.

Clarion returns to action Tuesday at Juniata in a non-conference match.
