Box Score

INDIANA – Kellie Bartman, Kaitlyn Anderson and Rebecca Webb each recorded double-digit kills, and backup setter Rebecca Beightol had a solid game in place of Amanda Gough to help the Clarion University women's volleyball team to a 3-1 road win at IUP Friday night.

Bartman had 17 kills and seven digs, Anderson 15 kills and 11 digs and Webb 11 kills and eight blocks as Clarion rallied from a 1-0 deficit to take the final three sets. Scores were 21-25, 25-15, 25-18, 25-20.

Beightol, meanwhile, who was forced into action when Gough, Clarion's starting setter suffered a pre-match injury, had 42 set assists, 23 digs, two kills and a block.

“Rebecca was nervous in the first set,” Clarion head coach Jennifer Harrison said. “But she shook those off and did a great job. She was fantastic on defense. We have a lot of confidence in Rebecca.”

Rhianon Brady led the defense with 38 digs with Kayla Rodak chipping in 15.
