BREAK THE RECORD/HALLOWEEN BASH SET FOR VOLLEYBALL MATCH OCT. 29

CLARION – Come out and help the Clarion University women's volleyball team set the record for 2010 single-season attendance in NCAA Division II when the Golden Eagles host Mercyhurst at 7 p.m. Friday Oct. 29 at Tippin Gym.
 
An estimated 1,800 people are needed to help Clarion have the largest crowd in NCAA Division II this year, and the game will also be the inaugural Clarion women's volleyball Halloween Bash where three $150 Clarion University Book Store gift cards will be given out to Clarion University students with a valid ID card.
 
Two of the gift cards, which are sponsored by the Clarion Student Association and the Sports Information Office, will be given to winner of a Halloween Costume Contest with one male and one female winner. The third gift card will be a random drawing at the end of the match. Students must have their ID cards and must be present to win.
 
Going into matches this weekend - Friday, Oct. 22, at IUP and Saturday, Oct. 23, at California - the Golden Eagles are 20-3 overall and 12-1 in the PSAC-West.
