Clarion used a balanced offensive attack, led by Leeann Higginbotham who had seven kills, to defeat Cheyney 3-0 Saturday morning at Tippin Gymnasium.  

Nicole Andrusz, Aubree Frye and Hannah Heeter all added six kills in the win.  Frye, a freshman, also had five service aces and three digs.  Leirin Baker pitched in 12 assists and three digs.  

Freshman Emily Stewart was the leader from the service line as she tallied nine aces.  Rebecca Beightol led the team with 17 assists. 

Clarion is now 17-2 on the season which ties the 2002 team for the best start in school history.  Clarion comes back to Tippin Gymnasium tonight at 5:30 to take on West Chester.  

NOTE - Tuesday's match is our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Match – T-shirts and Pink ribbons will be sold and we will be raffling off items at the match and accepting donations with all proceeds going to the Clarion Hospital Cancer Center.
