CLARION MEN DEFEATED AT SHIP 135.5 - 125.5

COMPLETE RESULTS

(Shippensburg, Pa.): Clarion's Ben Appleby, Jon Kofmehl, Joe Ward and Mark Krchnak were all double winners, but the Golden Eagles were edged by Shippensburg 135.5 – 125.5 on Saturday.
 
            Appleby (So. York) won the 200 free (1:47.15) and 500 free (5:01.13) races, while Kofmehl (Sr. Johnstown/Richland) won the 100 (54.80) and 200 (2:00.13) yard backstroke.
 
            Ward (So. Johnstown/Westmont Hilltop) took first in the 50 free (22.04) and 100 free (48.82), while Krchnak (So. Clearfield) won the 100 (1:01.46) and 200 (2:15.75) breaststroke.
 
            Clarion is 0-3 this season. Led by 11th year head coach Mark VanDyke, Clarion will swim host Bloomsburg next Saturday
