FINAL RESULTS
(Bloomsburg, Pa.): Clarion freshman
James Robichaud (Annapolis, Md.) was a double winner and five other Golden Eagles won events as the Clarion Men's Swimming and Diving team defeated Bloomsburg 144.5-117.5 on Saturday.
Clarion upped their 2011-12 season record to 2-2.
Robichaud won the 200 yard freestyle in a time of 1:47.29, plus took the 400 I.M. in a 4:17.22 clocking.
Single event winners were
Joseph Ward (Jr. Johnstown/Westmont Hilltop), Mark Krchnak (Jr. Clearfield), Joseph Welch (Jr. Erie/Strong Vincent), Casey Dunleavy (Jr. McMurray/Peters Twp.), and Scott Harvey (So. Macungie/Emmaus).
Ward won the 100 freestyle in a time of 48.60, while Krchnak won the 200 yard breaststroke (2:13.72), Welch won the 100 butterfly (53.73), Dunleavy won the 50 freestyle (22.32) and Harvey took top honors in the 500 free with a time of 4:56.88.
The 200 medley relay team of Ward, Krchnak, Welch and
Ben Appleby (Jr. York/Suburban) won with a time of 1:39.12. The 400 free relay unit of Ward, Dunleavy,
Matthew Bojalad (Jr. DuBois) and Appleby won with a time of 3:15.61.
