FINAL RESULTS
(Bloomsburg, Pa.): Clarion's
Kayla Shull (Jr. Franklin/Rocky Grove) was a double winner on Saturday afternoon leading the Golden Eagle women's swimming and diving team to a 136-126 win at Bloomsburg.
Clarion raised its 2011-12 dual meet record to 4-0.
Shull won the 200 yard freestyle with a time of 1:56.10, while also taking the 200 backstroke in a time of 2:09.15. She was also a double winner in relays helping the Eagles take the 200 medley and 400 free relays.
Also earning individual wins were
Morgan Oberlander (Jr. York), Emilee Gysegem (Fr. Warren, Oh/Lakeview), Madi Sewell (Jr. Walled Lake, Mi.) and Courtney Bogue (Sr. Glastonbury, Ct.).
Oberlander won the 200 butterfly (2:12.46), while Gysegem won the 400 I.M. (4:37.74), Sewell took the 200 Breaststroke (2:30.30) and Bogue the 100 backstroke (1:00.02).
Clarion won both relays including the 200 medley and the 400 free relay. The 200 medley team included Gysegem,
Megan Burrows (Sr. Canton, Oh.), Kelsey Slayton (Fr. White Lake, Mi.) and Shull in a time of 1:50.78). The winning 400 free relay had Shull,
Tyler Ness (Fr. Reading), Burrows and
Anna McNurlan (Fr. Washington/McGuffey) in a time of 3:37.18.
