She also hit three more three-pointers giving her 74 on the season, the third-most by a freshman in school history. She entered the game averaging 3.2 three's per game, the second-best mark in the PSAC and the seventh-best mark in the nation. She has hit multiple three-pointers in 21 of her 23 games this season.

Jones, meanwhile, added eight points, a career-high nine rebounds and four assists with Clark chipping in nine points and eight rebounds.

The Lady Eagles then expanded the lead to 21 before Clarion made a late charge and closed to within 11, 70-59, with just under four minutes to play.

The Golden Eagles return to action at 5:30 p.m. Saturday when they host IUP. At halftime of the game, Clarion women's basketball alumnae will be honored. Scheduled to be on hand include all-time leading assist giver Ashley Grimm, third-all-time leading scorer Heather Cigich, all-time three-point leader Amy Coon and single-season assist leader Shelly Respecki among others. An alumnae game will be held at Tippin Gym at 12:30 p.m. Admission to the alumnae game is free.
