TAMPA, Fla. – Eckerd topped Clarion 3-0 (25-7, 25-20, 25-22) in women's volleyball action Friday at the Tampa Classic in Tampa, Fla.
 
Hannah Heeter led Clarion with eight kills while Kellie Bartman had seven kills and Rebecca Beightol six kills. Rhianon Brady chipped in with 28 digs and Amanda Gough had 25 set assists for the Golden Eagles who fall to 0-2 on the season.
 
Clarion returns to action at 10 a.m. Saturday when it faces Tiffin. The Golden Eagles will also play Tampa at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
