Clarion (4-10, 3-7) trailed by six, 28-22, at halftime and got the deficit down to four, 28-24, 32 seconds into the second half before IUP used a 19-4 run thanks in part to a pair of Amy Fairman three-pointers to help build the 20-point advantage.

Emma Fickel led Clarion with 15 points while Raven Jones added 13 points. Heeter chipped in with five steals, two blocks and two assists. Fickel hit one three-pointer giving her 125 moving her into sole possession of 10th place all time at Clarion.

Clarion returns to action at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Lock Haven.

NOTES – Clarion shot 44.2 percent, nearly 13 percent better than IUP was allowing on the year and also scored 10 more points than the Crimson Hawks were allowing on average … Heeter's three double-doubles since a week ago Friday are the first three of her young career.
