Box Score 2 INDIANA, Pa. – The Clarion University women's volleyball team swept a pair of matches at the PSAC-WVIAC Challenge Saturday at IUP.
The Golden Eagles topped Alderson-Broaddus 3-0 (25-18, 25-13, 25-16) and West Virginia Wesleyan 3-0 (25-20, 25-13, 25-8).
Against Alderson-Broaddus,
Carlie Bieranowski led the Golden Eagles with eight kills and seven digs, while
Hannah Heeter added six kills and four blocks.
Rebecca Ferragonio paced the defense with 15 digs, while
Laura Subject had 22 set assists and nine digs.
In the win over West Virginia Wesleyan, Heeter had 11 kills and three blocks, and Bieranowski chipped in 10 kills, seven digs and four blocks. Ferragonio added 17 digs, while Subject had 32 set assists and five digs.
Clarion returns to action Tuesday at Seton Hill.
