Box Score CLARION, PA – The Clarion University women's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 victory over Slippery Rock Tuesday night at Tippin Gymnasium. 

Amber Litwiler led Clarion with eight kills, one ace, and two blocks.

Hannah Heeter added eight kills and three blocks, while Emily Stewart added six kills and two blocks.

Laura Subject chipped in with 25 assists, while Heeter added on five.

Senior Rebecca Ferragonio had 12 digs, and Subject finished with 10.

Clarion started out slow in the first set, but was able to finish out strong winning 25-16.

The second set was much of the same, and Clarion again won the set 25-16.

After a struggling start to the third set, Clarion pulled away and won the set 25-14, which gave them the victory.

Clarion improves to a record of (13-3, 4-0).  They return to action Thursday night at 7 p.m. with a match at Juniata.
