ball. An out later, Gough drove her home with a single to center. Gough then moved to second when
Taylor Sherry walked,
Emily Leininger pinch ran for Sherry and both runners went up 60 feet on a base hit by
Nicole Lindner. Gough then scored when Nemeth was hit by a pitch before Elizabeth Shirting grounded out and
Taylor Powell popped out.
Clarion then put a pair of runners on in the seventh thanks to a walk by
Kayla Henderson leading off and a one-out single by
Megan Anderson, but Gough hit the ball sharply right at the second baseman for a game-ending double play.

The right fielder then threw the ball out of play trying to get Anderson at third allowing the Golden Eagle freshman catcher to score.
IUP, though, added three more runs in the sixth to make it an eight-run game, and Clarion failed to score in the bottom of the inning ending the contest.
