Laura Subject, the Clarion University women's volleyball team moved to 7-0 on the season with a 3-1 victory over LIU-Post at the California (Pa.) Invitational Saturday morning.
Clarion, which is 7-0 for the first time since starting 12-0 in 2007, was victorious by scores of 25-15, 12-25, 25-14 and 25-16. The loss in the second set was the first set loss of the season for the Golden Eagles, who are now 21-1 in 22 sets this year.
Hannah Heeter added to the offense with 13 kills,
Emily Stewart had 10 and
Corinne Manley eight.
Lauren Magalski chipped in on defense with 13 digs.
Clarion returns to action at 2 p.m. Friday when it travels to Mercyhurst to take on West Virginia Wesleyan in a Regional Crossover.
