VOLLEYBALL MOVES TO 2-0

Emily Stewart had 10 kills and 10 digs

Box Score CLARION, Pa. – The Clarion University women's volleyball team moved to 2-0 on the young season with a 3-0 win over Ohio Dominican Friday night at the Tony Banner Memorial Invitational at Clarion's Tippin Gym.
 
The Golden Eagles won by scores of 25-18, 25-20 and 25-18 over Ohio Dominican, which beat Edinboro earlier in the day.
 
Emily Stewart led Clarion with 10 kills and 10 digs, while Carlie Bieranowski and Corinne Manley each had eight kills with Hannah Heeter chipping in seven kills. Bieranowski also had nine digs.
 
Laura Subject set up the offense with 32 set assists and had 12 digs, and Morgan Seybold added 14 digs.
 
Clarion returns to action at 9 a.m. Saturday vs. Urbana and 7 p.m. Saturday vs. Concord at the Tony Banner Invite.
