CLARION, Pa. – The Clarion University basketball teams return home Wednesday to face West Chester in a PSAC Crossover doubleheader starting with the women's game at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men's game at approximately 7:30 p.m.

The Golden Eagle women enter the game having won three of four to improve to 5-6 on the season. Clarion is coming off a come-from-behind 68-66 win at East Stroudsburg Saturday that saw the Golden Eagles erase a 10-point second-half deficit to get the win when
Tania Holmes hit two free throws with 32 seconds to play.
Holmes is one of six Clarion players averaging seven points per game or more, as she scores 8.5 ppg to go with a team-leading 3.2 assists per game.
Emma Fickel is the Golden Eagles leading scorer at 13.5 ppg while hitting a team-best 24 3-pointers.
Kelly Johnson chips in 13.4 ppg, 4.2 rpg and 2.1 apg, while
Hannah Heeter, in six games since returning to the court after concluding her volleyball season, adds 13 ppg and 12 rpg while recording four double-doubles.
Raven Jones is at 9.6 ppg, 2.7 apg and 3.6 rpg, and
Jasmine Boyd adds 7 ppg and 5.2 rpg.
West Chester, which is coming off an 87-64 loss to the No. 2 team in the country, Gannon, is 9-4 on the year and has won 8 of 10.
The Golden Rams are led by Dallas Ely, who ranks first in the PSAC East and second in the PSAC in scoring at 20.3 ppg. Brittany Sicinski adds 15.8 ppg and a team-high 4.2 apg, while Kendall Benovy chips in with 11.9 ppg and a team-leading 5.0 rpg.
Clarion's men's team will try to get back on track against a solid West Chester club. The Golden Eagles are 2-8 on the season and have lost five in a row since knocking off Penn State-Beaver 95-88 Dec. 16. The next win for Clarion will be the 400
th at the school for head coach
Ron Righter, who has the school record for coaching wins.
The Golden Eagles are paced by junior guard
DeMarius Miller, who is averaging 19.2 ppg and has scored in double figures in seven straight and in nine of 10 games including a pair of 30-plus point games with a season-high of 42. Miller chips in 3.6 rpg and 1.8 apg.
Mike Kromka is adding 13 ppg and 9.2 rpg and has double-doubles in three straight contests and in four games this year.
BJ Andrews is chipping in with 8.8 ppg and 2.2 apg.
Marques Jones adds 6.6 ppg and 2.1 apg with
Aaron Johnson adding 5.8 ppg and 5.1 rpg while recording 28 rebounds in his past three games.
West Chester is 9-4 on the year and has won three straight.
The Golden Rams are paced by Troy Hockaday's 16.7 ppg, while Eddie Mitchell adds 14.5 ppg, R.J. Griffin 12.5 ppg, Cory Blake 12.3 ppg and 6.0 rpg and Shannon Givens 11.2 ppg.
After Wednesday, both Clarion teams continue at home with a PSAC West doubleheader against Gannon Saturday with the women's game starting at 5:30 p.m. and the men's game at 7:30 p.m.
