Clarion, Pa – The Golden Eagles defeated the Kutztown Golden Bears in three sets tonight at Tippin Gym.
The Golden Eagles won the match in three straight sets with scores of 25-15, 25-15, and 25-12 respectively.

Jennifer Mills after the match. Mills also added, "It was great to see people come off of the bench and keep up the intensity."
Taylor Braunagel led the way for the Golden Eagles with 10 kills and one dig while
Mackenzie Biggs added seven kills, two digs, and three blocks. Also for the Golden Eagles
Catherine Ferragonio contributed with six kills, six digs, and three blocks, and
Jocelyn Uchic and
Gabrielle Olson added five kills each.
The Golden Eagles were also led by
Laura Subject who had 29 set assists, five digs, and one block and
Kaley Pittsley contributed with seven set assists and one block.
Also for the Golden Eagles Morgon Seybold led the team in digs 15 digs and Morgon Herold chipped in with seven digs.
Kutztown was led by Audrey Stringer with 10 kills, four blocks, and three digs, Anna Conti with 19 set assists, and Madison Brake with eight digs.
The Golden Eagles return to action Saturday with two games. The first game is at 10 a.m. against West Chester and the second game is at 6 p.m. against Cheyney.
