Box Score GREENSBURG, Pa. –
DeMarius Miller broke out of his scoring slump with a game-high 23 points, but it wasn't enough for the Clarion University men's basketball team which dropped an 81-71 road decision to Seton Hill in Greensburg Wednesday night.
The Golden Eagles (4-16 overall, 2-10 PSAC West) led by one, 50-49, after Miller, who had gone three straight games without reaching double figures, got a steal and a dunk with 13:06 to play. Clarion answered with an 11-3 run of its own led by six points from Miller, who had his sixth 20-point game of the year, to get back within two, 64062, with 5 ½ minutes to play.
Again, though, Seton Hill had the answer this time in the form of a quick 6-0 spurt that got the lead back to eight, 70-62, with just under four minutes to play before the Golden Eagles climbed back within four, 72-68, on a Miller 3-pointer at the 2:07 mark. Malachi Leonard answered with a due to make it 74-68 with a minute and a half left before an
Aaron Johnson putback got the Golden Eagles back within four, 74-70, one last time with just under a minute to play. Clarion had a chance to cut the lead to two, but
BJ Andrews missed the front end of a one-and-one.

Seton Hill led 39-34 at halftime before getting the lead to eight, 47-39, early in the second half.
But an 11-2 Clarion run that featured a pair of Jones threes and four points from Miller capped with his dunk gave Clarion its only lead of the second half.
Clarion returns to action at 7:30 p.m. Saturday when it hosts California (Pa.).
