                     CLARION, Pa. - The last month of the Clarion University women's basketball team's schedule can pretty much be summed on by the Willie Nelson song "On the Road Again", as Clarion hits the pavement for the seventh time in nine games when it travels to Slippery Rock for a 6 p.m. game Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles (1-16 overall, 0-12 PSAC West) have had good luck against Slippery Rock recently winning 7 of the past 8 against The Rock (6-10, 2-10). 
Both teams are looking to break losing streaks. Clarion has dropped 13 in a row, while Slippery Rock has lost five straight and 8 of 9 since a win over Edinboro Dec. 3.
Tania Holmes leads the Golden Eagles averaging 14.4 points per game, the 12th-best mark in the PSAC. Holmes averages just over two 3-pointers per contest and shots 72.1 percent from the free-throw line and 33.6 percent from beyong the arc. 
Meanwhile, 
Delrika Jones-Carey adds 11.0 points per game and 8.5 rebounds per contest and is scoring over 15 points per game while averaging nearly 10 rebounds per game since Dec. 31. Also, freshman point guard 
Amesha Harden-Pullium is coming off a career-high 17-point, 6-assist effort at Edinboro Saturday.
Slippery Rock is paced by D'Asia Chambers' 16.4 points and 10.3 rebounds per contest, while Taylor Siggers adds 10.5 points per contest.
