CLARION, Pa. – After five straight games against PSAC East opponents, the Clarion University men's basketball team returns to PSAC West action at 3 p.m. Saturday when it travels to Seton Hill.

The Golden Eagles (6-6 overall, 4-5 PSAC West) are coming off a tough 73-72 loss to Shippensburg Wednesday at home that was won by the Red Raiders on a basket with 6.2 seconds left.

Seton Hill (3-10, 2-7) dropped a 68-58 decision to West Chester Wednesday and has lost four of its past six games.

Offensively, Clarion is a well-balanced group led by Darius Stevens' 13.3 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Kyheim Hall, the PSAC West Player of the Week this week, adds 12.5 points and a team-leading 7.1 rebounds per game, while BJ Andrews adds 10.8 points per game, newcomer Rob Agurs 9.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per contest in three games and Cameron Grumley, the PSAC West Freshman of the Week this week, 9.3 points per game to go with 28 assists and 23 steals. Justin Grant, coming off a career-high 27-point effort against Shippensburg, adds 5.1 points per contest.

Seton Hill also has three players averaging in double digits paced by David Windsor's 15.6 points per game. Noah Davis adds 14.2 points per contest, and Kameron Taylor chips in 11.7 points per game.

Defensively, Clarion leads the PSAC in steals per game with 13.08 led by Hall, who is the PSAC leader in steals with 3.1. Andrews is sixth at 2.1 steals per contest.

That defense will be facing a Seton Hill group that struggles to score. The Griffins ranks 17th in the 18-team PSAC in scoring at 65.3 points per game, and Seton Hill allows 76.7 per contest.

After Saturday, Clarion returns home to host Mercyhurst at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
