SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. –
Aaliyah Odom scored her second goal in as many games as Clarion took an early lead, but the Golden Eagles could not finish on the road as Shippensburg came back to win 2-1 at David See Field on Saturday. Clarion (2-12-2, 2-11-1 PSAC) will next be in action next Saturday when they travel to take on West Chester.
Â
For the second straight game Clarion struck early in the game, taking the lead against the Raiders in the 11th minute. Odom took a pass from
Meliah Roman – who recorded her third assist in the last two games – and buried a shot into the top-right corner from seven yards out, beating Leah Roy to put the Golden Eagles ahead. Odom now has a total of seven points on the year, while Roman is up to three on the season.Â

Goalkeeper
Krista Mosi kept the Raiders off the scoreboard for the first 75 minutes of action, turning away the first five shots from Shippensburg. An offensive flurry in the 76th minute finally got one past her, though, with Paige Harris notching the equalizer off a rebound. Harris was the one to put Shippensburg ahead later, scoring off a free kick in the 88th minute for the go-ahead goal.
